Journey Itinerary
india
With over 1.4 billion inhabitants, India is the second most populous country in the world and one of the oldest and most fascinating cultures. It blends the modernity of cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore with the millennia-old traditions of its temples, ashrams, and rural villages, where life follows a rhythm connected to nature and the sacred.
The country stands out for its cultural diversity, with more than 20 official languages, and a unique cuisine, music, dance, and architecture. This cultural richness leaves a deep impression on everyone who visits.
Moreover, India is the birthplace of major spiritual traditions such as Yoga, Ayurveda, Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism, all centered on the pursuit of balance and connection with the essence of being. This spirituality permeates daily life, from simple rituals to grand ceremonies.
India in its essence
India is a land of profound contrasts: the solemnity of the Himalayan mountains coexists with the vitality of its colorful, fragrant markets; the serenity of its temples contrasts with the vibrant energy of its streets, where apparent chaos becomes a way of life. This balance between tradition and modernity, noise and silence, movement and stillness is what makes India a place that truly transforms those who visit.
Visiting India is not just about sightseeing; it is about immersing yourself in a world that awakens the senses and challenges your perspective. It is an opportunity to learn, grow, and reconnect with yourself through the culture, nature, and wisdom of this unique country. India leaves no one untouched, its magic, beauty, and depth stay with you long after you return home.
Rishikesh

LOCATION AND MEANING:
Rishikesh, located at the foothills of the Himalayas and on the banks of the Ganges River, is known as the “world capital of Yoga.” The city is considered sacred by Hindus and attracts thousands of travelers each year seeking spiritual peace, meditation, and a deep connection with nature.
SPIRITUAL CENTER:
The city is a reference point for the practice of Yoga and meditation, with numerous ashrams offering specialized trainings and workshops. Well-known ashrams such as Parmarth Niketan and Sivananda Ashram provide an ideal environment for the practice of Yoga, meditation, and spiritual rituals. Every evening, the Aarti ceremony on the banks of the Ganges brings together devotees and travelers to offer prayers and devotional chants.
TRANSFORMATION AND PERSONAL GROWTH:
Rishikesh is more than a place to practice Yoga; it is a space for inner growth. Its peaceful vibrations and spiritual atmosphere allow visitors to connect with themselves, reflect, and find clarity and calm. Life unfolds at a slower pace here, creating the conditions for deep personal transformation.
THE IMPORTANCE OF THE GANGES:
The Ganges River, sacred to Hindus, is the spiritual heart of Rishikesh. Many visitors come to the city to purify themselves in its waters and to participate in offering rituals. The connection with the Ganges is one of the most powerful elements shaping the city’s spiritual identity.
ACCOMMODATION
Hotel Vedbhoomi Residency is located in a peaceful area of Rishikesh, in the Tapovan district. It is a family-run hotel managed by a welcoming Indian family, offering guests a warm and homely atmosphere.
The rooms are designed to provide optimal rest, featuring simple yet elegant décor. All rooms include a private bathroom, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and either double or twin beds, ensuring comfort after a full day of activities.
The hotel also offers a rooftop terrace with panoramic mountain views, a dedicated meditation and Yoga room, and a kitchen serving traditional Indian dishes with healthy options, carefully prepared by the family who runs the hotel.

mEALS
Indian cuisine is rich in flavors, spices, and fresh ingredients, deeply influenced by the country’s spiritual traditions. During the journey, you will enjoy typical dishes prepared according to the sattvic tradition, which promotes light, balanced, and healthy eating, ideal for the practice of Yoga and Ayurveda.
Meals will be vegetarian or vegan, with options such as Dal (lentils or legumes), Sabji (spiced vegetables), and Kichari (rice and lentils). The Indian diet also includes dairy and gluten, such as Roti or Naan (bread), Dahi (yogurt), and Chai, the traditional tea prepared with cow’s milk.
If you have any intolerances or allergies, please let us know in advance so we can offer suitable alternatives. This way, you will be able to enjoy balanced and mindful nutrition that beautifully complements your spiritual journey.

GROUP & LANGUAGE
The group will be small (8–12 travelers) to ensure an intimate and personalized experience. We are looking for open-minded participants who are eager to explore the philosophy of Yoga and willing to adapt to the group’s rhythm and diverse cultures with respect and openness.
This journey is an opportunity for shared growth, reflection, and practice, with a focus on yogic philosophy and the spiritual environment of Rishikesh. Through shared activities and meals, we will cultivate an atmosphere of harmony, mutual learning, and meaningful connection.
In Rishikesh, many people understand basic English, and in ashrams or spiritual centers, Hindi or Sanskrit is often used. While English can be helpful, it is not necessary, as we will take care of translations into Catalan or Spanish so that the group can communicate naturally and fully enjoy the journey.

PERSONALIZED GUIDANCE
Both the journey and the activities are thoughtfully designed to offer you an authentic experience of India and the yogic lifestyle. We are truly excited to share with you everything this country, both intense and fascinating, has to offer.
With our experience in the country and in the philosophy of Yoga, we will accompany you from the moment you arrive in India until your return home, taking care of translations, accommodation, meals, and activities. In addition, we will share our knowledge of the country’s history, religion, culture, and practical tips for traveling and navigating India with confidence and ease.
