What Is The 108 Peaks?
At The 108 Peaks, we design journeys, treks, and expeditions across the Himalayas of India and Nepal, crafted with a deep sense of respect and authenticity. These are signature trips, created by us and shared with small groups, to offer real and meaningful experiences.
Beyond conventional tourism, we invite you to dive into local culture, mountain life, and nature itself, to travel as if you were part of the place. Each route is an invitation to connect with the land, its people, and your own inner journey.
The 108 Peaks is led by Gemma, a Catalan designer and mountain lover, and Manoj, an Indian mountain guide born at the foothills of the Himalayas. Together we combine two perspectives, local and international, and one shared vision: to travel consciously, with respect for culture, nature, and the people who call these mountains home.
Whether it’s a journey, a multi-day trek, or a high-altitude expedition, our experiences are crafted with care, intention, and a strong connection to the mountains. We prioritise small groups to ensure authenticity and minimise impact, and we collaborate directly with local guides, families, and communities.

About the Educational Project “Clean Mountains, Save Mountains”
Creating Awareness
“Clean Mountains, Save Mountains” is an educational and environmental project created to raise awareness and promote responsible practices in the Himalayan region.
Plastic reduction
Through workshops in local schools, we engage children and communities in topics like plastic reduction, tree planting, mindful living, and environmental respect.
Thanks to donations
We also integrate yoga and nature-based learning to inspire a deeper connection with the mountains. This initiative is funded through donations and a percentage of our treks and journeys, allowing travelers to actively contribute to the places they explore.
Discover India & Nepal with Us
What brought us together is our love for the mountains. We’ve chosen to live a simple and traditional life in the Himalayas, a place that demands strength but offers deep connection. Through The 108 Peaks, we want to share the hidden stories behind every summit and every trail, far from mass tourism. If you’re looking for a real and meaningful experience, we’re sure you’ll love our story.
